Fuji Klasse Question

Hey there,
I just got a first gen Fuji klasse and surprised to see no indicators in the viewfinder. How can you know when the camera is focused correctly? It has a green /red light outside the viewfinder that lets you know when exposure is good if flash is off, but as far as I can tell it lets you shoot right up against a wall without so much as a warning that focus is off. Is that normal for this cam or am I missing something?
