Do you think it is possible to use batteries for rc models that have 7.2 V? Although slightly in size, they have little voltage and can be recharged. I've seen all kinds of battery packs grafted to 680, including one like this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3345830 So I'd say that if you make an appropriate "box" which sits in place and connect the wires to receiving poles, it can be done.
