Fuji GX617 vs Linhof Technorama 617 ?

Hi there,

I've pretty much decided to buy one of these two, over the next couple months ( still get to get the money without being killed by the wife... )

So which one ?

Internet is not full of reviews of 617 cameras...

While the Fuji seems a bit more well thought ( rewind crank for example ) it scares me a bit that Fuji stoped completly to make those cameras, so support is limited.

Linhof still supports the cameras but then again the only I routinely see around ( and not many to be honest, at least here in Europe ) are PCI and not PCII, which some of them might be bit on the old side - plus the Linhof seems a bit more expensive - while the Fuji, while not cheap, seems readily available - for example, at least 4 stores that I know have 2 Fuji's each but only one have a Linhof.. and its a 612

So what are your opinions and did you faced the same dilemma and what you have chosen and why ?

Serviceability would be very important for me. Linhof repaired my 30 year old Technika without hesitation. You could ask both companies about the service situation for these cameras.
