I need to change the viewfinders on my GW690 III GSW690 III, from the standard -1 viewfinder, too -2 as my eye slight has changed.

I'm wondering, where to get two, would they be the same as Nikon's screw type?

Thanks

Mark

There are at least two different Nikon eyepiece threads; you want the 19mm one, same as Nikon FM2. They sometimes pop up on the auction site.

Same as the FA, F, F2, FE, FE2, FM2, etc. Also the F3 non-hp.

I use the 19mm eyepiece correction lens -2D for my FUJI GW670iii and GW690II - it fits perfect !

Another nice piece of gear is the Nikon DG-2 2x eyepiece magnifier. It provides 2x magnification of the central finder image - the magnifier flips up to see the entire image - dioptric correction ranging -IIRC- from -5 to +1.
It will fit the Fuji G(S)W series cameras also.

Wow, it works! I just tried my Nikon adjustable magnifying eyepiece on my GW690ii. Thanks for the tip.

Hi! I have a GSW690II and bought this Nikon DG-2 2x eyepiece magnifier, after seeing this post  The issue is that I struggle focusing as everything looks pretty small through the viewfinder. To my surprise it does not fit into the viewfinder. It almost does, but doesn't. The threat is just too big (less than 1mm bigger than it should, maybe). Am I missing anything here? Should I "force" the metal into the plastic viewfinder? Thanks!

David, I'm sorry ... I know other members here, who use the Nikon eyepiece with their FUJIs. Here's a photo from our member @narsuitus on flickr with the DG-2 2x mounted on a GW670III.
Narsuitus, maybe you can jump in for help?

Don't know what's going wrong with your eyepiece. I use mine even on the GA645 - series cameras (GA645; GA645 Wi) with no problems.

Never force! Nikon threaded eyepieces come in 19 mm (F3 and older models) and ~22 mm (F3HP and newer) flavors. You want 19 mm. Examine your DG-2 carefully, maybe yours has an adapter screwed into place.
