Just received this "new" camera...and while playing with it I noticed that the hot shoe doesn't work. From what I have read...it is supposedly a hot shoe...but is it?

There are three GW690 models,the original GW 690 only has a cold shoe, the other two I believe have hotshoes

Ok..apparently I've been reading info on the newer models. This is the original model...and there is a flash synch plug on the lens...so I guess I'll find/buy a cord. Thanks..
