It's very interesting to see the price differences for essentially the same rig. Fuji gw670 is roughly 3 times the price of a GW690, on eBay, (even more for the real mint ones) and an even greater differential between the GW670 and the GW680.
To a great extent, this family of cameras were directed to a particular commercial and professional market segment in Japan. If I understand things correctly, there were many more of the 6x9 versions sold.
I would really like one of the 6x8 ones.
Why do you want one, Matt? I was thinking the same thing, but can't figure out a good reason. I have both 6x9s so why do I need a 6x7 and 6x8? Still....I do.

I like the 4/3 (or should it be 3/4?) aspect ratio.
And I really like how all nine of the negatives will fit nicely on a single Printfile page!
Currently it doesn't make a lot of sense, as my 4x5 enlarger is in storage and my other enlargers top out at 6x7.
But when it comes to a Texas Leica, what is the point of making sense?
I keep telling myself I don't need my 6x9. I really don't use it all that much... but those negatives are glorious. And it is worth more to me than what I can get out of it (most of my cameras are beaters).
