Hi there,
I regularly use a Fuji GW670ii and GSW690ii as my main cameras, without any issues for a number of years. Tonight I pulled the GSW690ii out of the bag to take a photo close to the minimum focus distance, and the focusing ring wouldn't turn to focus any closer than about the 2m marking on the barrel. It is not a hard stop but there is lots of resistance at that point, enough that forcing it would definitely be a bad idea.
This is a long shot but any chance this is a known issue with these cameras that is easily resolved? Nothing has happened to the camera since I last used it. It has just been sitting in my camera bag, so I have no idea what would suddenly cause this problem to occur.
If this is not a known issue, is there anywhere in Canada (or failing that, North America) that does work on these cameras?
Thanks in advance!
