Fuji GA645z cracked grip

Hello

I've noticed that almost all these cameras have hairline cracks (or bigger) in the side of the hand grip .
This would be on the right hand side of the camera. Does this affect functionality? Does it cause a light leak? Or is it just cosmetic?

Mine has the crack. I've never seen any problems. Just did several rolls over the fall. I also have the dropping digits on the display problem. I believe caused by the wiring from camera to back. And the erratic f-stop knob setting problem. Here I believe it needs to be cleaned. So far nothing I can't live with. One of these days I may buy a spare just in case.
