So this camera is really a diamond in the rough. I don't shoot it often enough to keep it, and I could use the dough more these days.

Camera works great, but has a big ugly wart. The big one is that the builtin flash sort of went haywire and I disabled it. See this thread for details:
(there was a url link here which no longer exists) ....So the builtin flash does not work and I used tape to hold the flash down (see pics). The hotshoe functions great, and I've used pocket wizards and SB-800's on it with no problems. Also this camera suffers from this somewhat common ailment of the shutter speed/aperture dial skipping around at times (see this youtube video for an example:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyPXtsCIpBE). It works fine, but can take a little patience (like a couple of seconds longer) to go from f/4 to f/16. Two steps forward, one step back....

That said, I'm always surprised at how well this little camera performs. The lens is razor sharp and meter is dead-on in most situations. It's a little loud to focus, but it used infrared focusing and it's been super accurate for me. The images it produces are top notch. Here's a link to a few on my flickr gallery: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bpointr/tags/fujiga645/

So seeing as the camera isn't in mint condtion, I'm going to let this go for $200, plus shipping and fees, if any. Please ask any questions beforehand, as I'm selling this as-is.

Thanks!

I used one of these in the 80s. Very sharp images and extremely convenient.
My favorite feature is the vertical frame. Unlike all other 6x4.5 cameras, the
vertical frame is perfect for shooting *people*. Great for street and candid work.
And it will fit in your coat pocket.
