I have just acquired a new (to me) Fuji G690BLP rangefinder. I have discovered that the rangefinder coupling mechanism is non-functional (no image shift when adjusting lens). When I manually push in the pin the frame lines in the viewfinder move as they should however the split-image is stationary. I assuming that the mechanism has become de-coupled or is broken. Does anyone have a suggestion on who might be able to repair this? Also a rough guidline on a cost estimate would be helpful.

Thanks

Frank Marshman at CamaraWiz is the considered an expert on these cameras. I've had pretty good results with service from them. Shouldn't be too bad. Less than $200 I would suspect. Google CameraWiz and you'll find the contact info.

FYI, Frank is in Harrisonburg, Virginia -- there may be other sites that call themselves CameraWiz, but that's where Frank is. He worked on a Plaubel 67W for me and did a great job.
