Fuji CA (L) Sheets Vs. Supra Endura

Hi, after printing on Kodak Supra Endura (which I used to find for £10 a box of 100 10"x8" sheets) I was forced to move (or to try) Fuji's CA in Sheets

£25 for a box of 100 10"x8" Lustre and -the point of my post is- beware, don't let yourself get ripped off like I did, this paper is awful, very thin and feels very cheap, the colour is very poor, very unsaturated and seems to have a green cast impossible to get rid of,

well maybe I am exaggerating but compared to Supra Endura it's just a joke, definitely a consumer/cheap paper that please don't ever bother trying....

I searched for this kind of comparisons or reviews around here but couldn't find any, just thought it was worth sharing my experience...

Very strange. My experience was not nearly as bad. Yes, it is a bit thinner than Supra, but not by much. The color I'm getting
is clearly more saturated on CA paper than on Supra Endura. The color balance for me was much easier to get with CA and took much more fiddling with Supra.
What kind of RA-4 chemicals do you use and at what temperature? I wonder if that the reason for the grief...

I've not used the new CA paper but Kodak Supra Endura is / was an excellent paper with great colour quality.

Hi just to be clear I'm not going on about technical things here, I'm very disappointed on the quality of that paper (FUJI CA) I'm upset that is so overpriced and is not even a 'professional' range paper, a complete ripoff, they are just taking advantage that there is no other option in the market...

but it goes both ways, I have completely changed my perception of that brand, I normally shoot Fuji films (pro 160s and 400h) which are very good, but what will stop them to come in the future with a crappy cost saving version that replaces the current lineup for twice the price?

I've read mixed reports on the Fuji papers. Will report within the next couple of months when I hopefully get around to trying the Fuji paper.

Here in the states there is a newer "C " (commercial) style but I never had issues when using the old "P III" which was a lower contrast portrait grade of paper. The PIII is still around if you look and designed for optical.

I think the newer C is better suited to digital printing systems.
