Just wondering what folks think of this film for portrait & nude work. I recently tried Acros 100 for the first time, and in particular, was very pleased with the skin tones in a nude self-potrait I did. I'd like to find something like that in a higher speed film, so the Acros 400 came to mind, but alas, I'd have to special order it from B&H or Calumet - probably Calumet since they're an APUG sponsor. Anyone do a lot of portrait work with Acros 400, or do you dislike it for some reason?

Neopan 400 is not Acros - it's more like HP-5 IMHO. It doesn't seem to have the T-Grain look that Acros/Delta/TMax have. I like TX better but Neopan 400 is nice too.

I have used it for some portraiture in medium format. It's very sharp, has great tonality, and is very consistent. I wouldn't say it's as nice and creamy as ACROS, though, but it definitely has a nice crisp 'bite' to it.
I've attached a child's portrait. Available light by window. Mamiya 645 camera, developed in Pyrocat. Printed on Ilford MGIV.

Thank you

This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you. Looks like a very nice film and I'll give it a try.
