Fuji Acros 100 and Neopan 400

Anyone here using these films? If so what are you developing it in? And what is your opinion of the film? Just curious.

I had a two-year love affair with Neopan 400 after buying some "Presto" in Japan -- it weaned me off Delta. In the end I decided that what I really liked was Tri-X, and Neopan was just a transitional stage back to the film of my childhood

I like Neopan in X-tol and Rodinal.

Acros doesn't like Rodinal so much, but it's excellent in X-tol, crisp and somehow metallic-looking (steep part of the curve I guess). It's my favored low-speed B&W film, though I wish I could get it in bulk.

I use Neopan 400 120 developed in Rodinal. It looks great so I've never really tried another developer.

I use Acros 100 and develop it in Pyrocat-HD. I have also developed it in Rodinal, but prefer the results I get with Pyrocat.

I prefer acros over tmax100. In my soup of choice (Dixactol ULtra - pyro type dev) it is very sharp indeed and remains effectively grainless (5x4 sheet film). Gives fair speed in Dixactol - I rated it at 64 in constrasty spanish sun with reduced development, but would rate it at 80 on average. In contrast to what I have heaqrd about it being delicate in pyro, I have had only perfectly clean negs so far (5x4 dev'd in combitank)

How much less development time do you give it when you set it at 64 or 80 form the normal stated development time?

It's been a while since I last used it, but in general I think the Neopan films do quite well in Microdol.
