I have a Leica IIIc sitting on the shelf. It needs some attention to the half-mirror (rf is very weak, close to non-existent) and the left chrome ring (see photos) is mangled by some former owner. Viewfinder is clear but probably needs to be cleaned up too.
The chrome is pretty nice, only a few chips gone on the bottom plate. It runs fine on all speeds from 1 to 1/1000s. It has the somewhat rare "Quer-sharkskin" vulcanite.
I'd like to get it off the shelf: a nice trade would be a pre-war Leica of some sort, maybe a IIIb but anything goes here. I could also be persuaded by an Elmar 50 (can't have too many of those!).
Why? I just prefer the handling of the older Barnacks. Send me a PM if interested.
