Howdy, APUG! I picked up this Yashica Electro 35 CC a few years ago in Japan amid some random camera-treasure hunting. I used it a little and I kept it around awhile as I thought one of my Film Club students would like to use it, but they are all into SLRs. I put several rolls through it last summer and all functions worked just fine. I simply don’t see myself ever using it much and hoping it lands in the hands of someone who would really like to shoot with it.
There are no major issues that I can see. The body is in great condition, just normal usage markings. Focusing is smooth. Lens is very clean except for a few small floating particles near the front lens element, which do not cause any issue. Film compartment is clean. Battery compartment is clean. The rangefinder double-image is aligned and very clear. Shutter speeds are accurate. 54mm Yashica lens cap included.
