I am selling my beloved Yashica D  She was great to me but I've since acquired a Rolleiflex and cannot keep both.

The camera is in fine condition for its age with only a few minor scuffs. There are a few spots where the leatherette seems to want to come loose but I've always been careful and planned on replacing it but never got around to doing so. She will probably need a dusting by the new owner but will be able shoot right out of the box. All speeds are accurate and focus is on point. The screen is a little dim but i've never shot with another Yashica TLR so I dont have anything to compare it with.

Camera comes with lens cap, lens hood, leica nipple (for cable release cord), yellow filter, and original manual.

*Original manual, leica nipple, and yellow filter are not pictured. Forgot I had them until just now

Can you tell me which of two lenses is on the camera -- a Yashinon or a Yashikor?

Is there a reason you can't have both, or is it you are only allowed one toy at a time ?

It had better be that the hospital will only let you have one blunt object at a time.

I'd rather someone else get the excitement that it once gave me. Now it just sits on the shelf since I got the Rollei.

I have one of these for sale as well, but I still take her out and treat her to some good film. Just because you have another camera doesn't mean ya gotsta be monogamous. They each have their own little quirks, and using both keeps life interesting.

Umm, guitstik... thats three words:whistling:

Haha, yea its been my backup for awhile now and I really like it's quirks, especially the "swirl bokeh" when shot at f3.5 due to the yashikor lens. It looks beautiful for portraits. I just have alot of gear right now some stuff I've yet to use. I'd like to get this camera in the hands of someone who can use it

Well my wife has told me that if I get another camera someone has to leave and where as I am tempted to get rid of one of the children I think she might mean me.

Despite what everyone will say about the Yashikor being "only" a triplet, remember that it's still a coated lens made on decently modern facilities, so it handles both b&w and colour very well.

I've printed truly nice 11x14 out of my Yashica D negatives. I sold it a long time ago when I bought a Mamiya C330, but recently I got a Rolleiflex and I found what I've been missing: a tight little camera, light and nimble. It's a Moleskine camera, to jot down visual notes.

I too make nice 11x14 prints, and even nice 15x15 prints on 16x20 paper from my Yashica C which also has the triplet lens. It's a great lens. A teensy bit swirly in the background if it's busy and dark. Sharp sharp area of focus, excellent bokeh. A great lightweight medium format camera Yashica made.

So is anyone interested in the camera?

Oups, no, we just all wanted to say how nice it was... Here's a bump for ya.
