My home is turning into a home for unwanted photo equipment. In the past several weeks I've been gifted boxes of "stuff" from three different friends, and I'm starting to sort through it. Some I'm keeping, some is junk, and some, like this nice Yashica A, deserves to become someone else's treasure.
The camera is clean and fully functional, with a bit of discoloration that may clean off on the shutter-speed ring. Both lenses are clean and clear and the shutter appears to operate appropriately on all speeds though I can't vouch for its accuracy. Focus is smooth. The ground glass is a little dirty, and the spring for the pop-up magnifier is a bit weak but looks like it can be adjusted with simple tools. There's no strap or case but it does come with the original dual lens cap. It's a nice, basic TLR that uses 120 film. There's no fancy frame counter, just use the red window. You can see there's a small piece of leatherette missing near the flash sync connector. The orange visible in the 6th photo (and used as a support in most of the others) is not included.
US$40 will get this camera to your US door, and I'll cover PayPal fees. The camera was given to me by the original owner, who I've known for decades, and whatever I net from this sale will go to charity.
