I've long used a motley assortment of scavenged small plastic containers as weighing dishes when mixing darkroom potions. They're lightweight and free, but have always offended my aesthetic sensibilities, so I finally broke down and bought myself some honest-to-goodness made-to-purpose plastic weighing dishes. These thin but spiffy dishes (see pictures) come 500 to the box, which would do for this and many more lifetimes since I plan to rinse and reuse them many many times instead of contributing to the local landfill. I don't wish to saddle my heirs with the difficult question of what to do with the remaining dishes upon my passing so I thought I'd offer some to other APUG members. US$10 will get you a 50 dishes shipped to your door in the US.
