For sale is a Voigtlander Ultramatic CS slr with 50mm Color Skopar 2.8 lens that I bought fairly recently. I'm an an admirer of Voigtlander cameras, and I like it, but it's similar to the Kodak Reflex III camera I have and since I have a few lenses for that camera, I don't think I'll end up using it that much. Cosmetically it's in excellent shape, the lens is clear with some minor dust. The camera is solid and probably the heaviest slr I've ever used, but the weight never bothered me. When I ran a roll through it, I used it in manual and used an external meter. When I received in the mail a Wein cell battery that replaces the PX625 original, I tested the meter against a Gossen Luna Pro with both set at 200 ISO, the Voigtlander was off by about a stop under exposed, but matched the Gossen when I set the ISO on the camera to 400. One important note: If planning to use in manual, make sure the shutter is cocked when moving it off the 'A' setting on the lens to manually set the aperture, failure to do so could damage the shutter. If you can see through the viewfinder, the shutter is cocked. The viewfinder has a couple of specs of dirt, but it's definitely usable.
