Selling my fully manual R2M (250 Jahre) Leica M mount camera that I purchased from a Japanese Ebay seller just under a year ago. This has the 35/50/75/90 frame lines. The camera is in very good condition, there are some scuff marks on the flash mount and the advance lever, and a mark on the front of the camera just to the right of the 'Bessa-R2M' marking plus a small one on the bottom under the film window. These were there when the camera was purchased.
If you are looking to get into Leica lenses but can't afford a Leica M camera and Leica M glass at the same time, this is a good camera to start off with, or have it to use as a back up to a Leica M.
Shutter speeds run from 1sec-1000sec plus B. ISO range is 25-3200. No self timer. The viewfinder is very clear, focusing is accurate. There are a couple of very tiny dusts spots on the square focusing spot. What I really like about this camera is the red metered LED exposure readout of -2 -1.5 -.5 0 +.5 +1.5 +2. Another feature I like is the right side hand grip which eliminates the camera's top edge leaning back (like the Bessa R4M). The downside of the of the hand grip is that you have to remove it if you want to use a tripod or change the batteries (2 1.5 silver oxides or alkaline). The batteries power the light meter only.
I'd like to keep it, but I have a Leica M5 (out for a cla) and think that will be all I need for a Leica M camera.
