This is a very nice uncoated Heliar 105 4.5 lens in a Compur shutter w/ no issues Old camera shown is included :]
As is usual w/ these old Heliars, the glass is clean w/ no dust, scratches or fungus. There may be very minor haze at the extreme edges, but it may just be dirt too. It is well out of the image making area. The shutter has been tested, and all speeds down to 1/10 are within spec. I didn't ck the slower ones because I don't use them, but they sound fine. T and B settings are working as they should. These are excellent medium format lenses that make beautiful 3-D images. Would work well on a 2x3 Crown Graphic or the like. I do not have shots from this particular camera, but have included a couple of pics from the exact same lens and camera that I used to own. There's no reason to doubt this one would image any differently.
Despite the camera's appearance, I think it would shoot just fine. Bellows appear to be light tight, the lens extends and retracts smoothly, and I collimated infinity focus w/ a loupe, a paper shim behind the lens board, and a ground glass on the film rails. Measuring w/ a tape, all the other zone focus areas are dead on the money. The camera is missing the foldout wire frame, the front standard is a little loose, and the key is missing from the wind-on knob on the bottom. I will supply one from another folder that could be adapted if the buyer wishes. $100 plus $13 for insured priority mail shipping. US sale only please.
