Up for sale is a never-used Nikon Super Coolscan LS-9000 ED 35mm and 120/220 film scanner with all the bits and pieces. I purchased this new, around 4 years ago but, because of pressures at work (I live and work in Hong Kong which is manic at the best of times!) I have never got around to setting it up. So, it has remained carefully wrapped up in a dust free environment in a cupboard. I simply cannot justify keeping it.
Due to space constraints I was unable to keep the box but rest assured that the scanner and all the ancillary items will be more than adequately packaged for anyone who wishes to take it off my hands. I will ship via UPS and, of course, the cost will not be insignificant, since the scanner is a weighty bit of kit.
Included in the sale are the following items, all in absolute mint condition:
Nikon Super Coolscan LS-9000 ED scanner, serial number 417483;
User's Manual;
Power cable;
Original FireWire cable (please note that a FireWire 9-Pin to 6-Pin Cable will be needed to connect to more recent devices);
Quick Start Guide;
Nikon Scan cd-rom (for what it's worth!);
Masking sheets;
Flatbed film holders;
Nikon FH-8355 35mm strip film holder;
Nikon FH-835M 35mm mounted film holder;
Nikon FH-869S 120/220 strip film holder;
In addition, there is a much sought-after Nikon FH-869G 120/220 strip film holder with glass, which I purchased separately from B&H.
The scanner powers up just fine but I have not connected it to my Mac as I don't have the appropriate cable. I regret that I cannot provide any advice on scanning software since Nikon stopped supporting this scanner some years ago. I understand that SilverFast works a treat but cannot vouch for this. I will be happy to let any potential buyer have my eBay details so that they can check my bona fides (100% rating).
I am willing to entertain any and all reasonable offers. Delivery charges will be included in the agreed purchase price. Payment preferably via Paypal.
