This is for an Ektapro 9020 cine which was serviced in June. It is working fine; I'm cycling it now and it's been running nicely for the last hour.

The Ektapro line of projectors are the very best and the 9 series is the top of the range. The **20 upgrades were the last and all had the Extra Bright module, and the 9020 cine was modified for cinema use by having a nice fade feature added to the timer. This is the machine which would project ads for local businesses prior to the feature.

It comes with an Isco 70-120 /f2.8 which is clean and a carousel which has a sticker on it. There are various stickers on the body of the projector from its previous life.

£150 shipped in the UK, paypal only

Slide projector, not cine (motion picture) projector.

I think the cine is very bright and was designed to project advertising slides in movies theater.

All Ektapro 4-digit projectors are equipped with the Extra-Bright Lamp module with as standard/maximum the EXR 85V 300W halogen lamp.
The 9020 Cine got the same module.

It thus is not brighter than the rest.

(300W halogen lamps means already being at the bright side. The top would be the 400W Metal-Vapour lamp with special power supply, which though was not offered by Kodak.)

It also got the automated lamp changer as the rest of the range.

  • Only the **20 series (3020, 4020, 5020, 7020, 9020) have the Extra Bright Module which is achieved by removing the heat filter and having a new cold light mirror which absorbs the heat.
  • The **10 series (3010, 4010, 5010, 7010, 9010) have the normal lamp module but with a thinner (3mm) heat filter
  • The **00 series (3000, 4000, 5000, 7000, 9000) have just the normal lamp module and heat filter (6mm)

Thus it is important if you are synchronising Ektapros to not mix **00, **10 and **20 as they have different lamp brightnesses.

I stand corrected.

In my archive I only got documents on the Ektapro xx20 series and thus assumed that this was the whole 4-digit offer.
(I never came across any Ektapro offered, and doubt I ever seen one set up... The same for respective printed matter.)
