For sale is a Toyo VX23D Camera in excellent condition. All the movements are smooth, and the locks are firm. The focusing screen is bright and clear and the bellows are light-tight and supple.
While this was Toyo's first foray into digital view cameras, they also supplied a Graflok adapter complete with a focusing screen, which is included here.
Like its older sibling, the VX23D uses the same telescoping monorail and tripod clamp. The two 30mm extensions are also included. Both standards have 70mm geared rise, a total of 60mm geared shift, and +/- 25°manual base tilt and swing. The camera accepts the same 110mm square lens boards that are used on the Toyo 45A series camera. One Copal 0 board is included. I have boards in other sizes, recessed boards, Linhof Technika and Horseman 80mm adapter boards available at extra cost. The bellows are specific to the VX23D. The included wide angle bellows can stretch to 170mm. A recessed lens board will let you use a 24mm lens. The Graflok back accepts 'Baby' Horseman 6x7 and 6x9 roll film holders. I have these roll film holders for sale. Adapters for various digital backs are available, or you can get custom adapters made for mirrorless cameras like the Fuji 50R.
