I’m helping a friend sell his late father’s photo equipment. PayPal payments will go directly to my friend and shipment must go to your PayPal-verified address. I'll provide you with payment info once we've agreed on the price, and I'll handle shipping as all the equipment is at my house for ease of listing. Prices include shipping to addresses in the continental US unless otherwise stated. Feel free to make an offer if you think the asking price is out of line, but remember that I'm not just trying to get bottom dollar for my friend and I can see the same completed eBay sales as you. International sales must go by a tracked and insured method, which won't be cheap, but I'll credit you the built-in US shipping cost.
Offered here is a Toyo-Field 45A. When I first examined the camera it was fully functional while obviously used, but the bellows had pinholes in almost every corner. MAC Group in New York, Toyo's authorized US service center, replaced the bellows and cleaned, lubricated, and readjusted everything (not cheap!). It's clearly not a new camera - the included original manual is dated 1991 - and there are signs of use, but no problems - you can count on many more years of service. This camera takes Toyo 110mm lens boards, not the more common and smaller Linhof boards. Included is one genuine Toyo board drilled for a Copal 0 shutter.
The current version of this camera, the Toyo-Field 45AX, lists for $2500 at B+H. The asking price for this just-refurbished camera with new bellows and one lens board is $600, and includes PayPal fees and insured shipping in the US.
