For sale is a Toyo D57M 5x7 monorail camera in excellent condition. The 4x5 reducing back and whole plate expansion back are optional extras.
1. Toyo D57M 5x7 Monorail Camera:
The camera is in excellent operating condition, with smooth movements and firm locks. The bellows are light-tight and supple. The camera comes with a 150mm / 6" rail and a 350mm / 14" extension rail. The camera has geared focusing along the entire rail. It also has geared rise/fall and shift on both standards. Manual tilt and swing movements are available on both standards. The bubble levels on both standards are full. There are a few small spots on the focusing screen. There are some marks on the metal parts. A flat Linhof Technika lens board adapter (not shown) is also included.
2. Toyo 5x7 > 4x5 Reducing Adapter:
The 4x5 reducing back is in good condition, and will fit the Toyo 57G and the Toyo 57M cameras also. It comes with a spring back that can accomodate Polaroid 405 holders. The bail arm lets you insert film holders easily. The focusing screen has acouple of small scratches at the edge.
3. Toyo 5x7 > Whole Plate Extension Back:
The whole plate extension back is also in good condition. It accomodates the special Toyo holders that are thinner and narrower than other holders. I think I have some of these holders.
