For sale is a Toyo 45CX Monorail Camera in excellent condition. The Toyo 45A camera is a great field camera, but it has its limitations. Using extreme wide angle or long lenses lenses, studio images with extensive movements are all difficult with field cameras. The 45CX makes a great addition for someone who owns the 45A. It takes the same 110mm square lens boards used by the 45A. The 4x5 back is of course the same as used by all Toyo 4x5 cameras, whether field or monorail. The back is not included in this sale, but I have one available if you want.
The camera has fully manual movements - rise, fall, tilt and swing on both standards. Normally, it comes with a non-extendable 500mm rail. However, this rail is a bit impractical, and I have replaced it with a 250mm base rail and a 250mm extension rail (not shown). Both the third party standard and wide angle bellows are brand new.
