Up for sale a biggest and hard to find a 25 inches F4 ~ 4/5 E Francais Petzval lens . The lens comes with a 10 inches square custom made iodized aluminum flange lens board. The lens is about 18 inches tall , the front and rear glass elements measured about 6 ½ inches diameter, weighted 26 lbs. included the flange. The lens is clear, some faint cleaning marks but no major deep scratches or glasses separation.
This lens is covered nicely on my 16x20 inches format at infinity and bigger than 20x24 inches at 12 ft portrait distance. It is a great portrait lens with very special look for film or wet plate work.
Asking price is $12500 plus shipping and insurance. Payment via Pay Pal gift or wire transfer.
