For Sale FS: The best K-Mount camera?

Is this Ricoh XR-2 the best K-Mount camera out there? I don't know, but I've heard people say it could be. I do know when this camera was designed almost everything was taken into consideration. For example:
manual and auto mode
trouble-free metal shutter
needle metering
diagonal split dot focus screen (faster and easier)
bright and large focus screen
viewfinder blind
depth of field preview button is handily located
multiple exposure button logically placed and very easy to use
great meter and film speed to 3200
aperture window and shutter speed visible in viewfinder

This one is in very good condition showing less than average wear. It was resealed a few years ago, and it takes great pictures. Everything is working fine. Now I must tell you I have only used this lens on my Pentax *istD, so I don't know how it will do on film. It is a 55mm / 2.2 Ricoh, and honestly on the *istD it seems a little soft. Not to say that is a bad thing. If you're taking pictures of Rosie O'Donnell, you might want a very soft lens. You might also want to leave the nice Ricoh lens cap on in that case, but that's up to you. Using a Chinon 1.9 or Ricoh 1.7 or a Sears 35mm K-mount lenses produced sharp pictures with great color.

At any rate, this is a prince of a camera, and you can have it and the lens for $30 plus the cost of postage.

That was why I suggested leaving the lens cap on. Sort of like keeping the hood on the falcon when you don't want it to fly...

I have two of these. One was my main camera for years until the rewind knob broke. It's now a parts camera. I bought another off eBay that now needs new seals. I bought a seal kit but I'm not sure I can do it - I can be pretty clumsy with things like that until I've done a few and I'm not even sure where they go - but I really need to get it fixed up. It's not as sturdily built as my Pentaxes but it's loaded with every feature you could ask for short of auto focus or matrix metering, and all of it very logical and ergonomic. These are really fun to shoot with.
