For Sale: Bausch and Lomb Tessar 6.5 x 8.5 f/4.5 (focal length about 250mm). Uncoated, glass looks good, no scratches or chips. Some paint loss on front ring. Comes with front cap and mounting ring. There is about 1/8" separation around the edge of the rear element. Nice for portraits. Price is $89/OBO. All offers considered. buyer pays shipping.

You should be able to see it in the photo in the original post. I think it is separation or it may be similar to the those bubbles that you used to see on Componons. I doubt it will have any affect on image quality. I will see if I get a better image tomorrow.
 
Sharadn, what size shutter does this lens require? Also, do you have any photos taken with this lens that you could share?

I do not know what size shutter it takes. I can let you know the diameter of the mounting ring later on today. I have no photo to post that I have taken with this lens but the glass looks OK to me.
 
The mounting ring diameter is 2 3/4". It would certainly take a large shutter. Probably would be very nice for portraits on a Graflex SLR. Here is another photo of the rear. Maybe the separation is more apparent. I would not hesitate to use it regardless of the separation.
