This thing is a strange beast. It is lovely to look at and seems to be in wonderful conditioneven the dial-set Compound shutter works pretty consistently (I don't vouch for accuracy, but it doesn't hang up at all). It is mounted on a small metal lens board that will be unlikely to fit anything you have, but since it was designed for plate cameras (9x12) you may find that you have just the thing. The design doesn't leave me totally confident that it will cover 4 x 5, but information on the web seems to say that it does, but with little or no movements possible. What I do know is that it takes a lot less bellows than a standard 270- more like 152mm, making it a dynamite option for a medium format camera like the Baby Speed. It comes in its own metal storage box and has no noticeable marks on the glass. I do not say that it is perfect, but I can see no flaws. Uncoated.
