For Sale FS: Tamron 70-300 AF lens for Nikon

This lens always took great pictures and operated very nicely. About 6 years ago I photographed the Austin Marathon using it, and everyone was very impressed by the sharpness, contrast and out of focus areas. If I still had those pictures, I would have scanned one for you, but I don't. 70-300 and f:3-5.6. This lens is in very good condition and comes with both front and rear caps and the Tamron lens hood. Takes 58mm filters/cap size. Action is nice. Glass is clean and clear. I've used it with an adapter on a Canon 350D (DSLR) and even though it lacks the autofocus ability in that application, the images are great. In fact, for fun I just stepped out and took an image of a stop sign about 70 yards distant. 300mm, f:6 or something close to that. I've attached it. $60 plus actual cost of postage.
