You know that might be part of the problem I'm having in selling my MF gear. I guess people are suspicious of "bargains" these days.

I just want to get rid of the stuff. I'm trying to get rid of my GAS & LBA addictions!

I honestly and truly wish I had the cash. Always wanted a P67 and here are two of them....

Not suspicious, but realistic....MF gear has fallen in price consistently since the higher end SLR digital cameras came onto the scene. Simply look at the prices of what appears to be excellent Hasselblad bodies and lenses.

Anyone with Rollei gear is even worse off...great cameras with no takers.

Moreover, someone called me today to report that one of the cell phone manufacturers is about to offer a small cell phone that has a camera with...sit down and take a breath...46 megapixels. I don't know if such if true and imminent, but if so. even the high end Nikons and Canons will be grist for the mill....I know that the phone cannot have the features of a sophisticated digital SLR...at least not yet....:}

In my opinion, even though the price is fair, this set is too much. People who don't have a Pentax system probably don't want to jump in head first into such a big setup (two bodies?!). Those who already have a 6x7 might want one or two items, but not the whole collection.

Spot on. When I first bought into the 67 system, I only wanted body + 1 lens (which is what I got - and love). Now that I've gone into the system, I am looking for additional bits and bobs to add to what I have already.

My two pence (from the UK).

In my humble opinion 67 is seen as a "difficult camera" 'cause it's heavy and bulky and a few would buy it to bring it around. In fact its election field of use was always studio shooting...
However you won't get rid of GAS & LBA if you sell your equipment:
first of all you'll have some money back to spend
secondly but even more important, you'll feel upset and alone watching that empty shelves so you'll find yourself looking for something else pretty soon...
BUT
i have a solution for your problem!
feel free to send me the whole kit, I am gonna pay for shipping expenses: your beloved jewels will be in good hands (I am a faithfull Pentax user from over 20 years) and you'll put a stop both to GAS and LBA, at least until you hoard some money again!!
:D

I don't think so. I'm still paying for my LBA & GAS...This will only help clear out some bills.

BTW, thanks for the generous offer but I'll pass. :whistling:

Hatchetman is correct. I'm looking for my first MF kit. I need one body, lens, handle and owners manual. I simply want to try out the format and see if it's that much better than my 35MM kit without spending a lot of money.

Agreed, the kit is a nice price, heck i spent more on my 67II and 45mm alone. Obviously those who want to get into the system wil be the ones to bite on the kit
If you do part out I possibly would be interested in the 90mm 2,8 (if the price is right) which I don't have yet.

Either way good luck on the sale!

OK I'll be "realistic". No one want the full Monty. That's OK. I'm open to offers for individual pieces.

PM me with offers, if interested. Just so everyone knows I've already sent replies to those that expressed interest in certain pieces of this kit.

Regards,

G

200mm sold! Rest would be $1000 + Shipping + PP fees.

I'll even add a dozen rolls of 120 [B&W, Neg & Slide] to sweeten the deal even more!

Thank you

What's left:

1 Pentax 6x7 MLU with metered prism w/body cap
1 Super Multi Coated 1:4.5 75MM w/rear & front caps
1 Pentax neck strap
2 Batteries
1 User manual

$275 + Shipping & PP fees. If this doesn't sell as a "kit", I'll keep it as a very heavy paperweight.
