I’m helping a friend sell his late father’s photo equipment. His dad was an enthusiastic lifelong photographer and a great fan of Fred Picker and Zone VI, so those of you familiar with Fred will recognize some of the equipment he use to recommend in these listings. I’ll be listing the gear a little at a time as I’m able to examine, photograph, and describe it. PayPal (must have a verified address) payments will go directly to my friend, while I’ll be handling the logistics since the gear is at my house to make listing easier. This means shipments might be a day or two slower than you’d expect from me because I’ll have to get the shipping info for each transaction from my friend. Prices quoted include shipping to addresses in the continental US unless otherwise stated. International sales aren’t out of the question, so don’t be afraid to ask, but keep in mind that the shipping cost could be surprisingly high. Asking prices are largely set a little below average prices of completed eBay sales, plus listings on LFPF and Photrio. Please let me know if you think a price is way out of line.
Here are some items for 4x5 negative storage.
First is an open package of Light Impressions #20567 "HD PolyChron Envelopes". I counted 63 envelopes, but could be off by one either way as the phone rang while I was counting and I got distracted. These are thumb-cut seamless polyethylene and are slightly translucent, i.e. not perfectly clear. They're similar but not identical to Archival Methods 34-306. Asking $10 shipped in the US.
Second are two sealed 50-count packs of Light Impressions 5290 Balanced Seam Envelopes for 4x5 negatives. These pH-neutral and non-buffered envelopes are similar to Archival Methods 20-001. Asking $14 shipped per pack in the US, or take both packs for $24 shipped.
Take it all for $32 shipped.
