This is a very lightweight little meter that can do wireless flash, wired flash, incident light, and reflected light metering. The field of view in reflected mode is 40 degrees. It uses a single AA battery.

If the lanyard hadn't already been attached to the meter this one could pass as new. It's in the original box with the case, attached lanyard, manual, blank warranty card, and silica gel packet (probably dead by now). The box shows a bit of shelf wear on the corners.

The box, meter, and manual are all marked "L-308B", but the warranty card bears a label that says "L-308BII", a slightly later model designation. I have to believe MAC Group, the USA importer, knew what they were doing in affixing this label, but I don't know how to tell the two models apart. I couldn't find anything about this on the Sekonic site, and what I've seen while googling suggests the two versions are essentially identical, with the II being at best an incremental upgrade. The current version of this meter, the L-308S, adds aperture-priority metering to this one's shutter-priority capability for incident/reflected measurements.

New, the L-308S is listed at $233 at B&H, so how about $65 plus shipping/insurance for this? Pictures on request.

Just noticed there's a faint odor of cigarette smoke that afflicts the box and leather case. Full disclosure and all that.

Also, it's pending sale on the Large Format Photography Forum, but please contact me if you're interested in the event that falls through.

I want it.

At this point I've got 3 PMs on APUG and two from the Large Format Forum. I will start going through all in chronological order if the first contact falls through. If you're not already in line, it's not worth bothering.
