Old but functions as it should, VERY BIG AND HEAVY. I'm even tossing in the antique tack iron (still works fine) for up to 16x20 prints, platen is 18x22 inches.
$100 NO SHIPPING, it must be picked up

Located east of Mt. Pleasant, Pa just off Rt.31 Bear Rocks Community.

Hey, Rick... Would this work for mounting digital prints on backing?

_Karl
Hi Karl. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

If you can adjust the temperature to the range suitable for your materials, it should work fine.

I use the drymounting presses (Seal 210 M and larger Büscher for 20x24) to flatten fiber prints and have no experience mounting prints to something. To flatten I do 90 degrees Celsius, about 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Fiber prints can have that.

The question will be what digital papers can have without problems and what temperature you need with adhesive materials. D&K (they do Seal presses too) should be able to tell you and point you in the right direction.

The Seal has adjustable temp. I use mine not just for photography, but for all kinds of tasks where I need to flatten wrinkled paper. However, just as when I see my childhood toys sold as antiques, comments are a little upsetting.
