For Sale FS: Schneider 110mm f/5.6 Super-Symmar XL Lens - Linhof Sellect

The sharpest lens I have ever owned. It is in excellent condition with one flaw that I can see. In the center of the front element there are a few VERY, VERY fine marks. I don't know they existed until I shown a bright flashlight through the front element while looking at the rear element. I called Schenider service and asked there opinion and they said (based on my description) that only in a very bright/contrast close up you might see them. I have a digital scanning back (103mb) and have made tests trying to see them and so far I have not. I've also tried to photograph the marks and have not been successful.
When I was talking to Schneider they said they could replace the front element at a cost of ~$400 but they think it would be a waste of money. I originally listed this lens for $1400 but to be fair I am willing to sell it for $950 net to me and I'll give 14 days to return it you only have to pay the shipping both ways.

If you have never used the Schneider 110 XL lens before you are in for a real treat. The lens is very sharp with excellent contrast, the image has a depth and feel that is very hard to describe.
