Rolleiflex 3.5E Xenotar. S/N is 17847xx.
Comes with bonus bright screen (not installed). This screen is a cut-down screen from a Mamiya 6x7 camera. This is a one piece plastic screen with a superfine fresnel lens on one side and the ground "glass" (and split image focusing aid) on the other. If you decide to install the screen you will have to get the viewfinder focus adjusted since the ground surface will now be on the top side (versus the bottom side of the factory ground glass).
The camera itself is in nice condition. The glass and coatings are excellent. No fungus. The shutter and aperture blades are dry and not oily. The shutter works at the higher speeds (down to 1/30). The slower speeds are sticky.
The body is in good condition with some wear marks. The plastic cover over the meter needle is broken (about half missing). The meter still works though I don't know how accurate it is. The only other known problem is the door latch pin is broken off (see photo). It still seems to latch securely without it.
I'm not sure what to price this at but let's start at $275 (plus actual shipping cost) or best offer. I would prefer to sell to the US or Canada.
I'm selling a few things in order to pay for my recently purchased 77mm Limited lens. References available on request.
