This is a very nice condition Rodenstock Imagon in compound shutter and mounted on a Linhof style board. Glass is in fine condition with a few cleaning wisps and the usual dust specks. Shutter body is also in fine condition with just a few very minor marks of use. Shutter fires on all speeds including T and B and speeds to my ear are accurate. Shutter blades open and close smoothly and are oil free. The aperture also opens and closes smoothly but of course it is seldom if ever used as the the diffusion discs provide the aperture.
Comes with the H7.7 to H9.5 and H9.5 to H11.5 diffusion discs and the front cap. I almost always used this lens without the diffusion discs to maximise the softness in conjunction with the aperture. Covers 4 X 5 and some say also 5 X 7. A great lens capable of producing lovely images with the right lighting and certainly whets the creative appetite.
