Have for sale a Gralflex 2x3 Speed Graphic with 3 film holders and what appears to be an unopened pack of Kodak sheet film that expired in 1951. Don't know much about the camera. Tested shutter and seems to be firing fine. Haven't tested with any film. Message me with any questions or such. Asking 175 shipped or open to offers. Thanks

Yes, Ky is the abbreviation for Kentucky. Defitnelt not in Japan. In the US which used United States Dollar for currency.

First, congrats on becoming a subscriber so soon after joining.

Obviously, photos would help. In addition to condition, the particular lens can have an impact on value. And whether it has a graflok back.

It does not have a braflok back. Seems to be in good condition. Has a Bausch Lomb Tessar Lens on it.

Fair enough, but clarity is needed on location and currency in the Classified section. KY is also the Post Code for the Kirkcaldy area in Scotland. The problem is this is a very International forum, owned and administered in New Zealand (although Sean is from the US) and many of us don't know US abbreviations let alone the name of every US state.

It gets worse when people state their location as say Paris, Athens, London, or even Montgomery and don't state they are not in fact in the original towns, cities in Europe which are usually very much larger :D.

Are you sure it's not a Quarter Plate pre-Anniversary Speed Graphic ? The DDS (film holders) look the wrong proportion to be 2¼x3¼ (6x9cm) plus it's a Quarter plate lens.

6x9 is quite a wide format, like 35mm compared to Quarter plate and 5x4. The first Miniature Speed Graphic 1939-46 had a more modern Anniversary style front standard as well as a different front wire frame finder, and rear sight. So this must be a quarter plate camera 3¼ x 4¼.

I am not sure. I honestly know very little about the camera. Tried to do some research but guess I didn't do a good job. I bought it from a vague auction thinking was a 4x5 speed and unfortunately it isn't so I'm sure you're right! Thanks for helping out

Graflex.org is the best place for Graflex information, I have a 5x4 pre-Anniversary Speed Graphic plus many spare parts from QP Anniversary Speeds so recognise the parts.

So you have a "Quarter Plate pre-Anniversary Speed Graphic with a Bausch & Lomb Quarter Plate Tessar (Ic) lens (5.5" / 138mm approx) in a Compound shutter.
