You know the story about Michael Smith stocking up on Azo, or Ctein took out a second mortgage to buy a freezer full of dye transfer stuff? And of course you know someone, or you yourself may have bricks of Tech Pan, or HIE in the freezers?... This is exactly like that. Epson Kozo, wetmounted on rice paper, gives off a luminous quality that you do not find in any other inkjet paper. It has the DMax and durability of gloss paper but with the look of the fine art mat paper. The best in the world.
Of course this means that Epson will and in fact, did, discontinue it. I need to raise about $1700 to buy up the remaining rolls from a distributor in Australia. If I sell 4x 24" print for $400 each, I would be nearly there. I sold two prints already. Anyone wants another?! PLEASE?
Some sample prints. The Japanese Maple is absolutely fantastic on the paper, as is everything else. You can see my stuff at http://richardmanphoto.com, Instagram or Facebook under richardmanphoto. Most of my images are taken on 4x5, or Hasselblad film, or XPan.
