Hello,
Here a little Plaubel Peco Junior 2x3 view camera with two different ground glass backs, a 6x9cm roll film back and three 6.5x9cm sheet film holders. This is a somewhat later model with nice paint with only a few bright marks from laying on its side in a case. Included is a original equipment International standard spring back that takes common sheet film holders such as Graflex and Fidelity. This spring back is clean and working well. Also is an original Plaubel slide in ground glass type back that you can use with standard Plaubel roll film holders (1- 6x9 back included) and Plaubel 6.5x9cm sheet film holders (3 included) so you get the best of both worlds. The 120 roll film back is not all that pretty on the outside but is clean on the inside with good light trap felt. It is advised to use the older wooden film spools on the take up side for better frame spacing, much has been written here on that subject. They are cheap and easy to find on the auction site. The sheet film holders are clean and pretty.
The camera comes with the standard pleated bellows and the wide angle bag bellows. The pleated bellows is not stiff or rotten but does have some black tape on the first couple of folds on the front top. I put a roll holder on this camera and checked the bellows and light seals with a bright LED light and I did not see any leaks so the seals are good and the taped bellows seems good.
The camera comes with the normal front standard/lens board holder and also a special recessed one for even shorter lenses.
These are quickly interchangeable in the field. At least once you learn a few simple tricks of doing it.
The min distance from ground glass to lens board with the special front standard and bag bellows is about 45mm. Using the bag bellows and "normal" front it is about 61mm. The max comfortable extension is about 225mm.
The camera has L-R shift and rise/fall on the front and swing/tilt on the rear. The movements are smooth and the locks work well.
The lens is a 105mm Schneider Xenar in a Synchro-Compur shutter. The shutter is running well, to me the 1 sec sounds just a little long and the 1/2 sec maybe just a tiny bit long. The lens glass has a good many fine scratches. Included is a second lens board, clean and pretty with about a 41mm opening.
If you look at the pictures you can probably see all this and figure it out. If you have questions please ask.
$280. plus postage - $30 carefully packed ground parcel in the US 48 stated.
