My wife told me I couldn't keep the both of my Phoththerms because she said I don't have room to hook up a second (which is what I would eventually do if I keep it - oh she knows me too well). So I'm selling my spare. $800 plus shipping (atleast $100). I am in Southern Va, so I might be able to meet someone from VA/NC/TN/GA/PA. Just put a new Temp sensor in it and you'll get a ton of bottles, atleast 20, but I think I have more. They are all in various condition from clean to ugly.
Great for the photo hobbyist! New, these machines are $4,500, so this is an amazing opportunity to get an amazing machine! This is a Sidekick, SK4.3. This will automatically process E-6, C-41, Black and White and ECN-2 film all autommatically. This is my spare machine and I wouldn't give mine up for anything! Comes complete with all sensors, reels and two drums (one for 2 rolls, one for 4 rolls). I will also include at least 20 bottles for chemistry and 10 Reels (Reels are standard Paterson Reels which are about the most popular reels around and found everywhere). I can assist with setup and operation. This is fully tested and working with all required parts.
The PhotoTherm Mini Automatic Processor-Dryer is perfect for the photographer who enjoys using film. It's easy to work at home without the need for a darkroom or dedicated space. It operates on 120v household current and uses small batches of developing chemicals. Simply mix a batch of chemistry in the handy plastic bottles. The Photo-Therm syphons the exact amount of chemistry needed, heats it to the required temperature, rotates the film in the chemical, and drains the used chemistry to a waste container. Photo-Therm uses separate bottles for each process, avoiding cross contamination. Then it automatically cleans the system, for the next batch. And you can push process.
From the previous owner: This machine was originally purchased in 1995 and works fine. It was used for small numbers of b&w and slide films each week for approx. 7 years. It was cleaned after use, and has been stored since. There are a couple chemical stains below the drum and on the back below the tubing connections. It includes two processing drums(shown), enough bottles for 3 separate chemistry setups, tubing, graduated cylinders, negative sleeves, instructions, and video.
This machine worked great for the b&w, C-41, ECN-2 and E-6 slide needs of a small photofinishing business.
