I've called these petzvals 'larger' because I will also have some shorter (6"-7") ones that I will post separately later.
Shipping is $10 in the USA, whether you buy one or buy them all. USPS money orders are preferred, but Paypal is also ok. $$ to APUG if sold here. (Added note: Also, shipping overseas is fine, it just wouldn't be likely to cost $10...)
Fast petzvals are normally going to have an image size at infinity approximately equal to their focal length. So, you can calculate how these might cover whatever format you are interested in. If you don't mind some vignetting, probably all of these are usable on 8x10. #3 will definitely cover 8x10. They are all good for whole plate or smaller.
1) Premier Optical, London. Approx 10" focal length, smoothly working aperture. The aperture has 2 scales: 1,2,3,4,5 and beside it 4.5, 6, 8, 11, 22. No flange. There are some very very tiny pinprick chips in the front glass, but nothing that is going to bother your shots. You can black them out if they concern you, but I wouldn't bother. This is a nicely made lens. 750g; 6" tall; 3 1/4" at threads. $280
2) Un-named French lens. Marked 10" focal length. There is no flange, but the inner black barrel comes out, so if you flip it the way I've shown here, you can use the brass plate there as a flange since it has holes in it already. Barrel is marked 'Made in France" . 744g; 5" tall; 2 7/8" at flange; glass is 1 1/8". Good glass. $175
3) Un-marked magic lantern lens. 14" focal length so will easily cover 8x10 at infinity. 781g; 6 3/8" tall; glass is 3 1/8"; barrel is 3 1/2". I also have the flip-top thing for it if you want it. It is marked 14" and might be good for filters or something. Good glass. $185
4) Darlot 10 1/2" petzval. Non-original flange, but I'll include this one that fits. 975g; 6 1/2" tall; glass 2 3/8"; 4" flange diameter; good glass. $325.
Thanks!
