This is a magic lantern type lens and it's looking like the two I'm listing today might be the end of my stash. Hopefully, I'll find more but petzval prices seem to have been rising at a fair clip.
Bausch & Lomb stereopticon petzval lens, focal length about 8"; image circle 7 1/2"; approx f5. A little over 3 1/2" tall; a little over 2" diameter at the threads. No flange. Weighs only 11oz. A leather cap comes with it. I have no idea if it is original, but it fits perfectly, so you can have it with the lens. Lenses unscrew easily for cleaning, glass is good, focus knob works smoothly.
With the image circle, good for classic style portraits on 4x5 and up. For aberrations, you might want whole plate or 8x10.
Price: $150 including USA shipping. Paypal is ok, although my dog prefers USPS money orders. The bank tellers give her treats when we deposit them, and being part bassett, (dog, not the tellers) she is a top quality slobberer. Some $$$ will go to Jim's Haiti relief collections.
