This is the successor to the Pentax 6x7. This body is in excellent+ condition cosmetically and functions very smooth, it even comes in the original box! The lens is in mint- condition with hardly any noticeable wear on the barrel. The rear element has been UV treated and shows no detectable yellowing. The glass is flawless and the coating shows no visible wear whatsoever. The aperture blades are in perfect shape and completely oil free. The lens has little to no dust inside and won't affect image quality. It comes with a Quantary multicoated UV filter, that was only taken off for these photos. The metered prism is in incredible cosmetic condition, no dents or scratches, and it's the latest "Pentax" branded one (vs the older "Asahi Pentax" or "Honeywell Pentax"). However in spite of the meter's immaculate condition, I have yet to get it to work. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I bought it in "mint working condition". I'm assuming it's dead but if you can get the meter to work again- great. The focusing screen is clear and shows no marks or wear. The mirror lock up functions exactly as it should. All shutter speeds are firing smoothly and accurately. Included is a new battery in the body (battery light comes on when tested) and two extra batteries still in the package. It also includes a strap with the lugs that clip onto the front of the camera. Comes with ALL the original caps: front and back lens caps, body cap, focusing screen cover, and finder cap.

This camera is perfect for someone looking to shoot portraits on 6x7 and wants a camera that is in excellent condition- cosmetically and functionally.

Given it's incredibly clean condition, I'm looking to get $500 + S/H from Ohio. If that sounds steep, I'm always open to reasonable offers, so message me and make me an offer.

*I will give you a discount on anything you buy in combination with other items I'm selling.

When I bought a new-to-me metered finder, it didn't work for me either. I googled a manual for it, and learned that you must attach it without a lens on the camera. After aligning the pins, and snugging it down on the finder screen, reattach the lens. It should work just fine if the battery is good.

Thanks. I've already packed this up to be shipped or I would try it myself.
