Well, after a number of years, it appears that I may have some gainful employment in the near future. So, I'm going to sell off some stuff out of my collection that I don't think I'll be using anytime soon.
Here are two approx 9" petzvals. Both are approx f4.5, but the one on the right could be faster if you removed the internal ledge that holds waterhouse stops. Both have good glass overall. I don't see any, but I assume there are cleaning wisps. The image circle is around 9", so is probably best up to whole plate and 5x7. They could be used on an 8x10 for portraits, but I would expect some dark corners.
Please PM or EMAIL me, preferably with the email option from the forum. PayPal and USPS money orders are both fine. $$ to APUG if sold here.
The one on the left is a Bausch & Lomb, not cut for stops, has flange and working , complete focus mechanism. 4 1/4" tall. Because the flange is trimmed (see photo), this one can fit on a 4x4 board. It is only 3" in diameter from straight edge to straight edge. Weighs 24 ounces with the flange. $225 including shipping and insurance in the USA.
The one on the right does not have a manufacturers name on it. The only engraving is a serial number. It is cut for stops but none are included. It has a flange and a complete, working focus mechanism. There is a pin-point prick on one of the rear elements. 6 1/4" tall, about 4 1/2" in diameter across the flange, so you'd need at least a 5 1/2" or 6" board to mount it. It is very impressive looking and weighs 41 ounces with the flange. If you want a portrait lens cut for stops, with a flange and focus, that also looks great, this might be the one for you. $350 including shipping and insurance in the USA.
