I got this case with a camera I no longer have. It's in reasonably nice shape. It used to be a "never ready" case, aka the back didn't come off. I took it to a shoemaker who put a snap button on the back. I put a piece of medical tape over the snap area just to make sure it didn't scratch the camera. Otherwise, that works nicely. You'll see that the snap is silver rather than brown. You'll live. It's a huge advantage to be able to take the top off, obviously.
If I were going to use the case, I'd probably replace the leather strap with something thicker, but that's up to you.
Otherwise, it's a nice case, in pretty nice shape. Nothing too much else to say about it.
