Hi folks, I'm a photography student trying to fund a trip around the country this summer. I'm close to meeting my funding goals, I saved up a lot of money from my job as an event photographer, but I need to earn another $500 to purchase film for my trip. I'm planning on shooting around 100 rolls of portra 400, 100 rolls of hp5 bulk loaded, and 100 rolls of 120.

These are my original prints, all wet printed by me on Ilford glossy fiber paper. Most are 8x10, though a few are 11x14. The hand colored balloon photo is 5x7 only. All photographs were taken over the course of the past year

I'm asking $30 for 8x10, $50 for 11x14. I'll take care of shipping in the US. Please let me know if you have any questions. I accept paypal. I'll probably add a few more prints as I make them, so feel free to check back. All prints will be mailed in sturdy, rigid cardboard print mailers.

*Update*

Just made this picture over the weekend, it would make a gorgeous print if anyone is interested. Pushed some tri x to 800 @ 72 degrees in sprint chemistry, beautiful grain.

Thank you all for the kind words.

I'm shooting mostly color film now, but I can only scan the negatives. It'll be fun when I get an opportunity to learn how to print color. Anyway thanks for checking out my work!

Cheers,

Jon

Hey folks, thanks so much for the interest in my work. I've posted some of my recent photographs that I've taken over the past month on my trip across the country. When I get to Denver where my grandparents live I'll be able to get in the darkroom, if anyone sees something they like.

Cheers,

J

I love this image.

I used to work at Sprint and chose to update the testing of films after Paul Krot died. 1993, I think?

I loved taking T-Max 400 and pushing it. I, too, live by the ocean and foggy conditions acquiring the negative in 35mm format, combined with printing LARGE just made the grain as much a part of the finished print as the image itself.

I also loved Tech-Pan and boosting a low Ph developer with extra phenidone to get ZERO grain when photographing calligraphy or particularly well executed gravestones.

I hope you are realizing your dreams, Tim.
