Hey there –
I'm thinning my collection and found an old chestnut: Nikon 35-70mm f/3.3-4.5 AF lens, one of the early AF lenses. Sure, I could squeeze every dollar out of it but I'd rather give it to a good home in this community. $40 shipped, including shipping, fees, whatever – that means final cost. I'd also trade for color negative, C41 chromogenic or B/W 135 or 120 film too that's not too far out of date.

I actually used the lens on my MF Nikons and it works fine like that. The glass is clean and clear, no significant marks or scratches. Blades have no oil and are sharp and accurate. Barrel shows a little wear. Comes with the original Nikon lens cap, which has a bit of the silver lettering worn off. The only real use this lens has seen is from going into and out of a camera bag. This is a nice walkabout lens, very compact if you are into that sort of thing.

BONUS: comes with a Nikon N70 body (F70 outside the U.S.). Body is in Exc condition, barely a scratch on it. I have to say that from day 1, I was very impressed with the meter on this camera. I used an F3 before this one and I think that the N70 matrix meter did a better job out of the box, before climbing the learning curve. Now, this camera is pretty infamous for its kooky interface (it has a "rays of the sun" LCD for PASM instead of a simple dial). I chalk it up to bad 1990s product engineering/human factors. However, I have ways around that: the original manual, plus the Magic Lantern N70 book. That must be a collectors item in itself.

So you basically get the camera as a rear cap for the lens. Or the lens is a body cap for the camera. PS, you may see this on other boards but it will be for a higher price there. I can take and send photos later if you would like. I know I have purchased off of this board before but didn't aggressively pursue ratings, as well as FM and eb@y. You can see my 100% feedback since 1998 there at uncle-ben.
